Non-Dispersive UV (NDUV)
How it works
Non-Dispersive UV (NDUV) technology detects gases by measuring their absorption of ultraviolet (UV) light. A UV light source emits a beam that passes through a gas sample. Specific gases absorb UV light at characteristic wavelengths. The sensor measures the intensity of UV light before and after passing through the sample. The difference in light intensity indicates the concentration of the gas. NDUV provides precise, real-time gas analysis with high sensitivity and selectivity.
Advantages
-
High Sensitivity: Detects low concentrations of gases with precision.
-
Selective Measurement: Targets specific gases by their unique UV absorption characteristics.
-
Real-Time Analysis: Provides immediate gas concentration readings.
-
Low Interference: Minimizes the impact of other substances on measurements.
-
Stable Performance: Offers consistent accuracy over time and varying conditions.
-
Minimal Maintenance: Requires less frequent calibration and upkeep compared to other methods.
